It is with great sadness that I have to record the passing in May of WFA committee member and secretary, Susanne Briggs.

I knew Susanne and her mother Gloria since the early days of Animal Liberation. She was a dear friend and we shared a deep belief in and love of animals. She was well known as an animal activist and professionally in the world of art. She will be sorely missed.
