Daily rescue calls, emergencies and catching of dogs' ward vaccinations keep the Darjeeling Animal Shelter team engaged.
The dogs of Darjeeling have enjoyed the snow again. Yes, Darjeeling experienced heavy rainfall and snowfall on 5th January, 2022.
The Animal Shelter has been performing its regular activities. The Shelter team has done remarkably this month with over two hundred and fifty spaying and neutering of dogs and over one fifty cats.
A general monthly meeting was called by Manger Mr. Arpan on Monday. The meeting centred around the work activities of KAS and follow ups.
It has been raining persistently here in the Hills for the last few days. Due to bad weather, more dogs are falling sick.
After the monsoon rain, the weather in Kalimpong is starting to clear a bit. Kalimpong Animal Shelter as usual is steady with its Projects and doing everything they can to serve the animal in and outpatients.
Two Animal Birth Control camps have been organised this week where numerous sterilisation on dogs was conducted by the Kalimpong Animal Shelter Team.
